How does PhotoBlocker work?

A majority of red light & speed cameras utilize a strong flash to photograph the license plate on your car. Once sprayed on your license plate, PhotoBlocker’s special formula produces a high- powered gloss that reflects the flash back towards the camera. This overexposes the image of your license plate, rendering the picture unreadable.

How to Use the PhotoBlocker Spray?

Step 01 Remove your license plate from your vehicle. Clean and dry the surface.

Step 02 Before spraying, be sure to lay something out to protect the surrounding area. Apply PhotoBlocker in flat even strokes until license plate is saturated. Allow your license plate to dry until tacky, then repeat 3 -4 times until there is a nice glossy shine to your license plate.

Step 03 Once your license plate is dry to the touch, place it back on your vehicle and you are done.

PhotoBlocker works by utilising the intense flash, used by most photo speed cameras, to over expose the cameras picture of a license plate. If there is no flash then PhotoBlocker wont work.

PhotoBlocker is not a tool to allow people to disregard the law and drive above the speed limit, thinking that they are invisible to speed cameras. We DON'T, in any way, encourage unsafe driving practices or speeding that could endanger the lives of others. PhotoBlocker will work with most photo speed cameras. There are factures that can alter the effectiveness of PhotoBlocker i.e. weather, sun light, the absence of a flash unit etc.

PhotoBlocker is not effective against Laser Guns, Mobile Radar some new speed cameras, that are slowly being introduced, that use a very low powered flash or none at all. For example these are used in Sydney's Harbour tunnels as a bright flash could blind drivers causing a safety issue.
